We just returned from a 3 month visit to America for our first home assignment.
We had a great time of rest, and reconnecting with family and friends who we had not seen in nearly 2 years! Justin’s mom “Mimmi” graciously hosted us, and after months of rain we were thankful for a change of scenery. Fall was beautiful in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It was also nice to be spoiled by some of the comforts and conveniences of American life. Of course it wasn’t all fun and games with dental appointments, check ups, and a total of 4 “brain tickling” COVID tests each.
